Friday, August 04, 2006 Yong Kian, a normal Secondary 1 boy, studying in Kranji Secondary School, wants to know whether his friends care for him or not. He carried out an experiment as shown below.

Aim: To investigate if Yong Kian's friends care for him.

Constant: Yong Kian, his bag, his wallet and his shoes.

Variables: His attitude, his body language, his facial expressions and his pace of walking.

Experimental Procedures and results:

After the filming of 'It's Showtime', Yong Kian, together with his friends, waited and waited in the SPIN room.
He tries his best not to talk and ignore everybody.
Later, when people told him to cheer up, he delibrately ignored it and expressed a glum and sullen look on his face.
After leaving the SPIN room, his mood did not change.
He wanted to check if his friends would look and ask for his condition.
He merely spoke 1 sentence on the way from SCHOOL to LOT1.
On the way there, he was showing everyone attitude.
Pei Si, believed to be his best friend, kept on looking at him, as if she can't take her eyes off him.
Usually, Yong Kian would laugh and laugh, sing and sing, play and play, fool and fool.
But he was all alone, quiet, distracted and moodless.
Noone was able to cheer him up.
Later, he told himself he can be normal again when he reached Lot1.
So he continued his act.
Upon reaching, Pei Si and Shao Tao had a fight just because of me.
I was happy and smiled.
So we reached Lot 1 and I immediately burst into ripples of laughter.
They were angry at first as I had 'em on. Later they were alright already.

I was glad that they still cared for me. (:
